Team India under the captaincy of Virat Kohli won the historical Day/Night pink-ball test at Eden Gardens against Bangladesh on Sunday (November 24). India won the 2nd test by 46 runs and an innings against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The victory has grabbed 5 records and achievements in the book of test cricket for team India as listed below.
Virat Kohli became the first Indian Captain to win 7 successive Test matches. Therefore, he had crossed Dhoni's record of winning 6 successive test matches in 2013.
India is the first team to win 4 consecutive Test matches by a margin of an innings. This is one of the rarest records in Test cricket history.
The Pink-ball test was the 2nd victory for team India in which none of the Indian spinners took wickets. Earlier, it happened against South Africa in 2018.
