India defeated Bangladesh by 131 runs in the quarterfinals of the U-19 World Cup on Friday. India were bowled out for 265 in the first innings as Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma scored half centuries. In reply, Bangladesh were bowled out for just 134 runs. India’s Kamlesh Nagarkoti picked up three wickets. India will face arch rival Pakistan in the semi finals.
