Indian legend Sourav Ganguly reportedly said that it is fine to pick players on their current form but it is also important to consider past performances of players in overseas as well. Ganguly added that the history of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma in overseas conditions are not good and their record is basically chalk and cheese when it comes to overseas Tests. The comment comes after Virat Kohli picked Rohit instead of Ajinkya Rahane to play in the first Test against South Africa.
