South Africa’s lead batsman AB de Villiers has been ruled out of the first three ODIs against India with a finger injury. De Villiers sustained an injury to his right index finger during the third Test and he is expected to be back for the fourth ODI. The first ODI of the six-game series is set to be played in Durban on Thursday. Notably, India are yet to win their first bilateral series in South Africa.
