The deadline for releasing and retaining players ended on November 14 and so was the trading window between the teams. The teams have submitted the list of players they have retained. The contracts for these players will be extended.
CSK who has retained 20 players can take 5 more players and make it up to 25. However, as they already have 6 overseas players, they can only take 2 more. The total money they have spent is Rs.70.40 crore and they have Rs.14.60 crores left to take the 5 players required.
DC has retained 14 players of which 3 are from abroad. They can take 11 players which includes 5 overseas players. They have already spent Rs.57.15 crores and can spend Rs.27.85 crores in the coming auction.
KXIP has 16 players including 4 foreign players. They can take 9 players including 4 overseas players. They have spent Rs.42.30 crores and can still spend Rs.42.70 crores. They have the biggest purse of all.
KKR has 14 players in their team of which 4 are foreign. They can still take 11 players including 4 foreign players. They have spent Rs.49.35 crores and have Rs.35.65 crores left.
The current champions Mumbai Indians have 18 players left and they have 6 foreign players. They can still take 7 players of which 2 could be foreign. They have already spent Rs.71.95 crores and they have only Rs.13.05 crores left.
Rajasthan Royals have 14 players of which 4 are overseas players. They can still take 11 players including 4 overseas players. They have spent Rs.56.10 crores and have Rs.28.90 crores left.
RCB has 13 players and 2 of them are foreign players. They can take 12 players including 6 overseas players. They have spent Rs.57.10 crores and have Rs.27.90 crores left.
SRH has 18 players and 6 of them are overseas players. They can still take 7 players including 2 foreign players. They have spent Rs.68 crores already and have Rs.17 crores left in their purse.
