Ashish Nehra on Thursday reportedly confirmed that he will be retiring after the first T20 International in Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla ground on November 1. Nehra reportedly said, “It can’t get bigger than this. Retiring at my home ground is big. I wanted to retire while I am still on top. It’s good if you retire when people ask ‘why’ and not when they start saying ‘why not’”. The Delhi-based pacer further said, “When I was selected for this series, I informed Virat and coach Shastri that I think Bhuvi and Bumrah are doing really well. And that this is the right time for me to go”, say reports.
