"WE HAD NO CLUE ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT," HARDIK PANDYA’S FATHER OPENS UP AFTER SON PROPOSES NATASA STANKOVIC

The news of Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya’s engagement on the first day of 2020 came as a shock and surprise to fans.

The engagement news of Hardik stole the limelight after he proposed Natasa Stankovic without any prior hint or signal. They both got engaged in Dubai among few close friends.

In the video, which has became the talk of the town- Hardik can be seen going down on his knees to propose Natasa. It was not just fans but teammates as well as Hardik’s parents were left shocked by the news of their son’s engagement. 

Hardik shared an image of him proposing to Natasa on social media and captioned it saying"Mai tera, Tu meri jaane, saara Hindustan. 01.01.2020 #engaged."

According to Times of India (ToI) report, his father, Himanshu Pandya, recently reacted on the engagement news. In an exclusive chat with ToI, Hardik's dad said "Natasa is a very nice girl, and we have met her in Mumbai on several occasions. We knew that they were going on a vacation to Dubai, but had no clue that they were going to get engaged. This took us by surprise. We came to know about it after they got engaged.”

Further opening about, Hardik’s marriage plans; he said that they have not decided about the marriage yet. Meanwhile, Hardik's elder brother, Krunal Pandya, took to Twitter and congratulated the newly engaged Hardik-Natasa.
