HARBHAJAN SINGH REACTS TO MS DHONI-PAUL REIFFEL WIDE CONTROVERSY; FANS 'ANGRILY' RESPOND!
Home > News Shots > SportsThe match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) ended with many raising eyebrows on MS Dhoni's animated reaction to on-field umpire Paul Reiffel.
Ever since 'the wide controversy' took to headlines, CSK skipper MS Dhoni has been facing heat from cricket experts and fans for his behaviour during the match.
Talking about the incident, it happened in the 19th over of SRH’s chase when the match was finely poised. During the game, SRH had scored three from the first ball of the 19th over when they needed 27 runs from the last two overs.
The first ball of the over was hit for a two by Rashid Khan before CSK's Shardul Thakur bowled a wide.
Then in the following delivery, it looked like a wide again but umpire Reiffel did not call it. The umpire was captured putting his hands out to call it a wide but then changed his mind at the last moment after seeing Dhoni's angry reaction.
Currently, Dhoni is facing criticism for his behaviour for that incident. Amid the row, Harbhajan Singh reacted to a video in a funny manner. He responded to a clip of Reiffel changing his mind over the call with a series of laughing emojis.
Soon after Harbhajan Singh's reaction went viral, fans slammed him calling him a traitor for his ‘dig’ at Dhoni. Harbhajan, who pulled out of IPL 2020 ahead of the tournament due to personal reasons, has been part of CSK squad since 2018.

Play Harbhajan next season. Make him warm bench. Ask for drinks and then refuse when he reaches midway pitch. Repeat this every five over each game.

What can we expect from someone who give funds to Pakistan 😂 https://t.co/ExnHcBtt1Y

CSK took him in IPL when other team throwed him in dust bin. And also he got an opportunity to act in tamil movie. Now he is showing his true colour.

Bhajji sir...u dont laugh..because u have the history of slapping your team mate....u can not even say a single word about spirit of cricket...
And every player can object the decision of umpire....if it was like that...there would not have DRS system... pic.twitter.com/m6gRhvSRSZ

If Betrayal has a human form, it is @harbhajan_singh 💔
I'm not sure what's going on within the CSK team cuz Raina and Bhajji left for unknown reasons but he shouldn't have trolled his own team and his captain. Absolutely cheap sportsmanship. #CSK #WhistlePodu @msdhoni https://t.co/m4ksDzenZs

The biggest mistake CSK did is picked Harbhajan Snake Singh in IPL 2018. Should have let him stick to Sports Tak when MI kicked him out.
