New Zealand players Rachin Ravindra and Dane Cleaver execute Vihari's dismissal in a very smart way that left him utterly surprised during the match.
After making his fifty, Vihari was looking all set to notch up a big score but things did not go as planned because he was dismissed in an unexpected manner. He was departed after a well-made 51.
The incident happened when, Vihari played the sweep shot off spinner Cole McConchie. He accidentally, hit the shot into Ravindra hand hurting him badly which made the ball bounce back to New Zealand A wicket-keeper Cleaver, who calmly took the simple catch. After his dismissal, Vihari could not believe what had happened.
Regarding the match, India A were all out for 216 in their first innings and New Zealand A gave a tough fight reaching 105 for 2 and reduced the deficit to 111 runs with plenty of wickets in hand. Players Hamish Rutherford scored (28) and Ravindra (47) were the two dismissed batsmen. Will Young and Ajaz Patel were unbeaten at the crease at stumps.
