FORMER INDIAN AND TAMIL NADU CRICKETER DIES; FANS IN SHOCK!

This news came as a shock to all cricket fans as former Tamil Nadu and Indian batsman VB Chandrasekhar died in Chennai on Thursday. He died at the young age of 57 and was fondly referred to as VB.
An official from Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) confirmed to ESPNcricinfo that Chandrasekhar had died of a heart attack.
As per cricbuzz report, Chandrasekhar was a key member of the Tamil Nadu team that won the state's second Ranji Trophy title in 1987-88. He scored 160 in the quarter-finals against Uttar Pradesh and 89 in the final against Railways.
With those performances and titles, Chandrasekhar had earned a place in India's limited-overs squad.
After his cricketing career, Chandrasekhar was part of a member as the national selector. He also coached the Tamil Nadu team during the 2012-13 season. On looking at his dedication towards the team and game, he was appointed team director of the Chennai Super Kings franchise during the inception of the Indian Premier League in 2008.
