On the occasion of Diwali when the country celebrated the festival of lights, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) took to social media and shared a throwback video of former captain MS Dhoni.
In the video, Thala Dhoni is playing a table tennis match with all-rounder Dwayne Bravo. Both are seen in tight spirits of conquering another sport.
Minutes after the video was shared by CSK, fans came out in large numbers liking the post and it became an instant hit among Dhoni fans. CSK captioned the video saying, "Back in March 2019, when #Thala, #Champion and #SirJaddu were all utterly dapperly attired for a Deepavali collection shoot, they decided to conquer other sports! According to Times Now report, this video was shot during a Diwali collection advertisement shoot which was done by Dhoni, Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja.
Ever since the World Cup ended, Dhoni has been on a sabbatical from international cricket. Also, his future in international cricket remains a topic of huge debate.
Dhoni had opted for a two-month-long break from cricket and served the Indian Army in Jammu & Kashmir for 15 days. Meanwhile, in Dhoni's absence, Pant has emerged as the first-choice for team India.
