Cricket enthusiasts may have even forgotten World Cup 2019 but not Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MSD) as he has not returned to the team after the big tournament.
In recent Team India matches, there were few instances where we could listen to the crowd chanting 'Dhoni Dhoni' despite knowing about his absence.
Presently, MSD is spending time with his family in his home town Ranchi. But it looks like the "Captain Cool" is all set to come back in action.
After the ongoing Bangladesh series, India would be playing three T20I and ODI games against West Indies next month. Therefore, reports suggest that Dhoni might be called back to the team as Rishabh Pant's performance failed to meet the expectations in the recent games.
With Sourav Ganguly taking charge as the new BCCI president, it would be interesting to see his views and selectors decision to bring back the most anticipated MSD on the field.
