MS DHONI 2ND MOST ADMIRED MAN IN INDIA AFTER PM MODI, SAYS SURVEY

To everyone's surprise and especially for Thala Dhoni fans, the former Indian captain bags the place as second most admired man in India. He comes second only to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to a recent survey.

Dhoni has a phenomenal fan following which is not hidden from anyone. Despite not playing for the country or team he is still there in the minds of Indian cricket.

According to Indian Express report, YouGov recently conducted a survey of 42,000 people from 41 countries to create the list of most admired people in the world. They set two separate categories for men and women.

Looking at the list of India's most famous people, the two most admired men and women are Prime Minister Narendra Modi and renowned boxer Mary Kom. 

Right after PM Modi, Dhoni with (8.58%) stands second on the list. He also holds a higher position than Ratan Tata (8.02%), Barack Obama (7.36%), Bill Gates (6.96%) and Amitabh Bacchan (6.55%).

Not forgetting about, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar; he takes the place of 2nd most admired sportsperson while India captain Virat Kohli is 3rd in the country.

Other personalities on the list are- Bill Gates while Michelle Obama bags the title at a global level among women.

Coming to Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, and Salman Khan also featured in the top 20 most admired men in the world.
