Chennai Super Kings (CSK), known for its calm head and ready wit, on Thursday gave a befitting response to a man who tried to troll Ambati Rayudu.
CSK had taken to Twitter to share a picture of batsman Ambati Rayudu from the ongoing practice session at Chepauk Stadium. "Vision 20/20," the caption read.
Referring to the shadow on Rayudu's face from his helmet, a Delhi Capitals fan named Om Lal Mehta wrote, "There's a shadow on that vision."
However, CSK shut the troll with a cool yet savage response that read: Darker the shadow, brighter the light. Brighter the light, better the vision.
The exchange attracted large attention from fans and critics in short time as they flooded the comments section in support of Rayudu.
On the game front, Chennai Super Kings will face off its rival Mumbai Indians in the opening game on March 29 at Wankhede Stadium.
