Home > News Shots > SportsAmid the lockdown and the deadly coronavirus fear, Australia batsman David Warner shaved his head and challenged Indian skipper and captain Virat Kohli to do the same. He took this step to support those working on the frontline amid coronavirus crisis.
After shaving off his head, Warner also challenged few cricketers from his Australian team and close buddy Virat Kohli to do the same. Taking to his official Instagram account, Warner, shared a time-lapse video of him shaving his head. He also captioned the post saying, "Been nominated to shave my head in support of those working on the frontline #Covid-19 here is a time-lapse. I think my debut was the last time I recall I've done this. Like it or not".
Highlighting about the death toll, as per the Sydney Morning Herald, Australia's death toll stands at 19 while 4,460 people have been tested positive for COVID-19. Looking at India's tally of confirmed novel coronavirus cases, it has crossed 1,300 while the death toll has jumped to 32.
