SUSPENDED CSK TEAM DOCTOR ISSUES APOLOGY OVER INDIA-LADAKH TWEET - POST GOES VIRAL!
Home > News Shots > SportsA day after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team doctor Madhu Thottappillil got suspended for his controversial post after the death of Indian soldiers in a violent face-off with Chinese troops in eastern Ladakh, the suspended doctor took to social media and tendered an unconditional apology.
The doctor in his post clarified that it was not his intention to doubt the measures taken up by Prime Minister Modi and the government. “I regret the hurt and anguish I may have caused to many people who read my Tweet and wholeheartedly apologize for the same. I once again express my sincere apologies for the unintended and inadvertent remarks made in my earlier tweet,” the post read.
Further clarifying over his post, Dr Thottappillil said that his tweet had nothing to do with his association with any individual or organisation.
Yesterday, soon after the tweet went viral, former BCCI President N Srinivasan's India Cements, announced that they have suspended their team doctor, Madhu Thottappillil. CSK took to their social media account and made the announcement.
“The Chennai Super Kings Management was not aware of the personal tweet of Dr. Madhu Thottappillil. He has been suspended from his position as the Team Doctor,” CSK tweeted.
According to Economic Times report, the team doctor had posted saying, “Just curious if the Coffins will come back with a ‘PM Cares’ sticker on them?” the tweet read.
Dr Thottappillil, has been with CSK as their team doctor for eight seasons, Times further reported. Even after Dr Thottappillil's apology went viral, social media were not satisfied with his reply. Check out the post below:

The Chennai Super Kings Management was not aware of the personal tweet of Dr. Madhu Thottappillil. He has been suspended from his position as the Team Doctor.
