Cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul faced flak for their controversial comments on the show, Koffee With Karan in January. The two were even suspended temporarily by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and only let back in after an investigation.
After the Committee of Administrators (CoA) lifted the suspensions on the two on January 26, Pandya joined the Indian ODI team in New Zealand and Rahul was named in the India A squad for their five one-day matches against England Lions.
However, it seems that the trouble for the two has not ended. Recently, a case has been filed against Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and the TV show host Karan Johar at a police station in Jodhpur. Reportedly, an inquiry is still pending for which the Supreme Court will appoint an ombudsman.
