VIDEO: BEN STOKES CAUGHT SAYING BAD WORDS TO FAN IN STADIUM; EXPLAINS WHY HE DID IT
Home > News Shots > SportsEngland allrounder Ben Stokes was caught having a rather unsavoury amount when television cameras spotted him exchanging unpleasant words with a spectator just after he was out for 2 runs during the first Test between England and South Africa at Johannesburg on Friday.
Just as he was making his way back from the pavilion, Stokes was caught saying, “Say it to me outside the ground you f***ing four-eyed c***.”
However, Stokes has now offered an apology and also explained as to what made him lose his cool.
In his statement, Stokes mentioned that although what he did was unprofessional, he was a victim of “repeated abuse” from the crowd. And, looks like that’s what indeed happened. Media reports say that a middle-aged man, sporting South African jersey had taunted Stokes by calling him “ginger c**t” and drawing a reference to pop star Ed Sheeran, which seems to have made Stokes lose his cool.
