Mohammed Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan had alleged that the pacer had received money from a Pakistani woman after the insistence of an England-based businessman. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has asked its Anti-Corruption and Security Unit to launch an investigation into the matter. Responding to the charge, Shami had earlier said, “I will prefer to die than involved in such anti-national act.”
