BCCI REVEALS THE REASON WHY DHONI WAS NOT SELECTED IN INDIA'S T20 TEAM!

Post West Indies tour, the match against the Proteas is widely expected. Amid speculations of retirement, Dhoni took 2-month break and went to army to train. He was in Kashmir before returning from duty.

Dhoni was expected to be in the team playing against South Africa as a mentor to Pant, to further shape him as a keeper. However, in the squad that BCCI announced, Dhoni was not mentioned.

Speaking of the move, he selection committee chief MSK Prasad told that Dhoni was not available for th selction. "Yes he (Dhoni) was unavailable for selection," said MSK Prasad reported TOI.

Dhoni is currently in the USA and has made himself unavailable for the selection. Dhoni's future in the team is unclear. There are speculations that the management is trying to have him till next year T20 world cup, but his position in the team and whether he will play in between is still a mystery.
