Prasanth Rajesh, who starred in TNPL in 2018, took 3 vital wickets to help his team LYCA Kovai Kings beat IDream Karaikudi Kaalai by five runs in the Super Over match at the Indian Cement Company Ground in Tirunelveli.
Prasanth Rajesh played alongside Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star T Natarajan in the match, India Today reported.
As the news of Prasanth Rajesh's untimely demise shocked the country, top spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who is currently in UAE, took to Twitter and expressed disbelief on the death of his late friend. "RIP M.P Rajesh.. So hard to believe that you are no more. I will never forget the after match conversations we used to have @sanch_cs @raaravind," he wrote.
In his tweet, Ashwin said that he would always remember the post-match conversation they both shared.
Apart from LYCA Kovai Kings, Prasanth Rajesh had also represented Tamil Nadu Cricket Association XI andTamil Nadu Under-19, India Today further reported. Check out the tweet below:
