VIDEO: ASHWIN DISMISSES VIRAT KOHLI FOR THE FIRST TIME IN IPL; TWITTER INSTANTLY RESPONDS!
Home > News Shots > SportsDuring the match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Ravichandran Ashwin sent Virat Kohli off with a clever variation of pace, where the skipper holed out.
The incident took place in the 10th over of the innings, where RCB’s Virat Kohli dropped off the bowling of Axar Patel, which clearly irked the entire franchise, including Ricky Ponting.
However, Ashwin sent Virat off with a clever variation of pace. Talking about the match, Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bowl first, against RCB.
During the match, Delhi’s star bowler Kagiso Rabada picked up Daniel Sams's wicket in the powerplay phase, after which Virat Kohli entered.
During the game, RCB skipper got himself a valuable boundary. After which experienced bowler Ravichandran Ashwin came in, who got the right-hander to slop it to deep at all-rounder Marcus Stoinis.
After taking his wicket, the off-spinner celebrated in a fiery manner, with the RCB skipper walking off disappointed.
