The 15-year-old teen prodigy Shafali Verma has been handed over the BCCI contract for 2019-20. In September 2019, she got her first breakthrough after being named in India's Women's Twenty20 International Squad against South Africa.
Later she made her World Cup T20 debut against South Africa on September 24 2019. According to the latest ICC tweet, Shafali Verma is a part of 2019-20 BCCI Women's central contract list.
The young girl has played 9 T20Is and her recent knock against Australia A at Brisbane turned out to be the talk of the women's cricket fraternity. She scored a brilliant 134 in 78 balls in the match. Shafali is a right-handed batswoman.
Shafali was awarded a Grade C contract along with 10 other players by BCCI. The complete list of BCCI Women Central Contract list is given below.
