A new American study, published in the journal Child Development, has reportedly found that young people who use devices beyond their own usual usage and average usage of peers tend to experience behavioural problems such as lying, fighting. They also experienced difficulty paying attention and exhibited attention deficit hyperactivity disorder symptoms, says the study. The scientists found that adolescents who spent the most time using digital technology experienced increased conduct problems and self-regulation problems.
