South Korea former President arrested

South Korean former President Park Geun-Hye was on Friday arrested and jailed over high-profile corruption allegations. She is accused of colluding with a close friend to extort big businesses, take a bribe from one of the companies and commit other wrongdoing. Millions of South Koreans had protested in the streets before she was charged in December and removed from office in March. Reportedly, an election to find her successor will be conducted in May.
