The Nationalist Congress Party on Wednesday asserted that party chief Sharad Pawar has ruled out himself from the Sonia Gandhi-led opposition's list of potential candidates for the presidential elections. Party spokesperson Nawab Malik said, "Sonia Gandhi requested Sharad Pawar to be the opposition's candidate for President, but he has asked her to find someone else.”
