To put an end to the battery drain issues, Canada’s McGill University scientists are reportedly working on self-charging batteries. According to reports, the batteries will have high power and energy densities under direct sunlight and will use light as a source of energy. Notably, this will be the first 100 % self-charging lithium-ion battery in the world.
