The Supreme Court on Monday reportedly dismissed a public interest litigation asking the government to term the Indus Waters Treaty as illegal and unconstitutional. Dismissing the PIL, the bench reportedly said: "The treaty does not put any impairment on anybody." Notably, the Indus Waters Treaty was a tripartite agreement between India, Pakistan and the World Bank.
