The Supreme Court has reportedly ordered the seizure of former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa’s assets to recover the Rs 100 crore penalty imposed on her by the trial court. The court reportedly said, “We are of the opinion that the order of confiscation/forfeiture of properties standing in the name of six companies, as involved, made by the trial court is unexceptionable.”
