The Supreme Court, on Friday, reportedly declined urgent hearing of a Public-Interest Litigation filed by Satta Panchayat Iyakkam. According to reports, the PIL sought to restrain AIADMK general secretary Sasikala from taking oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Notably, Sasikala had earlier met the Governor and handed over the letter of support claiming majority.
