According to media reports, Sathyam Cinemas, the largest multiplex in chain in Chennai, is set to enter the Mumbai market. Sources said SPI Cinemas has taken over Globus Cinema on a nine year lease from Raheja Group. The Chennai-based group would have to shell out anywhere between Rs 12-13 lakh as rent per month as the property is in an upscale area in Mumbai.
