AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala may seek two weeks’ time to surrender before the court citing health reasons. The Supreme Court had earlier refused to give more time to surrender as she had sought. The apex court on Tuesday convicted Sasikala in the disproportionate assets case and slapped a four-year jail term.
