AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala, who was convicted on Tuesday in the disproportionate assets case, is likely to surrender in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Sasikala returned to Poes Garden late on Tuesday from Golden Bay resort after having discussions with over 100 party legislators. Notably, the Supreme Court on Tuesday convicted Sasikala of corruption and slapped a four-year jail term.
