Indian boxer Sarita Devi will reportedly become the first female professional boxer from the country by making her professional debut against Hungary’s Zsofia Bedo in Imphal on January 29. 31-year-old Sarita Devi, born in Maripur, is a national champion and a former world champion. Notably, Sarita was awarded Arjuna award in 2009.
