Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reportedly paid the highest advance tax, a tax paid in advance instead of lump sum payment at year end, in the industry. According to reports, Salman has paid an advance tax of Rs 44.5 crore in the 2016-17 fiscal year, followed by Akshay Kumar, who paid Rs 29.5 crore. Notably, actor Hrithik Roshan bagged the third position by paying an annual advance tax of Rs 25.5 crore.
