Russia’s main opposition leader Alexei Navalny was arrested on Sunday for organising an anti-corruption protest in Moscow. More than 500 Russians were also detained for participating in the protest. The protesters called for the resignation of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev over corruption allegations. Other than Moscow, demonstrations were also held in several other Russian cities.
