Russia is reportedly seeking assistance from India to develop the Electronic Voting Machine for its upcoming presidential poll in March 2018. As a counter offer, Russia has also reportedly shown willingness to assist India in developing a state-of-the-art tabulation system for counting of votes. Noticeably, the opposition has raised the possibility of EVM tampering in the recently held Assembly election.
