The Reserve Bank of India will soon issue a new Rs 5 and Rs 10 coins to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Allahabad High Court and also the 125th year of National Archives of India. The RBI also said the existing coins in this denomination should also continue to be legal tender. The new Rs 10 coin will have an image of the National Archives Building in the center with inscription ‘125 YEARS’ below the image and will also bear the logo of 125th-anniversary celebration.
