According to reports, the Reserve Bank of India has cleared a plan to release Rs 200 notes. The printing of Rs 200 notes could begin after June. The RBI board meeting occurred in March where the central bank concluded to go forward with the new notes. However, there has been no official confirmation from the RBI so far.
