Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi on Tuesday announced that it had sold over 1 million units of its Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India since its first sale on January 23, making it the fastest smartphone to sell 1 million units in India. The company also claimed that the sales within the time period implied that one unit was sold every 4 seconds.  Notably, the Redmi Note 4 is priced at Rs. 9,999.
