The Reserve Bank of India reportedly said that they will be issuing the new Rs 10 notes in the Mahatma Gandhi Series 2005. According to reports, the new Rs 10 notes will come with an inset letter 'L' in both the number panels, bearing the signature of RBI Governor Urjit R Patel, the note will have the year 2017 printed on the reverse of it. Reports also added that the old Rs 10 notes will continue to be legal tender.
