Following the coalition between the Samajwadi Party and Congress in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi made this first combined public appearance on Sunday. Akhilesh, reportedly claimed that he and Rahul Gandhi were two wheels of development of the same cycle, while Rahul called their alliance the Sangam of Ganga and Yamuna rivers.
