Finance Minister during UPA’s regime, P Chidambaram, asserted that one of the reasons behind former RBI governor Dr.Raghuram Rajan’s departure was demonetisation. He stated that a five-page letter against demonetisation was submitted to the Centre by someone in the Reserve Bank of India on the day Dr.Rajan stepped down. Further, Chidambaram demand the government to make that letter public.
