PV Sindhu beat her fellow Indian player Saina Nehwal in the quarter-final of India Open Super Series 2017 at Fort Complex in Delhi on Friday. The Rio Olympics silver medallist beat Saina 21-16, 22-20. Sindhu will face South Korea's Sung Ji Hyun in the semi-final on Saturday. Notably, The two Indian heavyweights had faced each other once before at the international level where Saina came out on top.
