Indian shuttler and Rio Olympics silver medallist, PV Sindhu has reportedly accepted a Group-I officer’s job offered by the government of Andhra Pradesh. Further, reports suggest that Sindhu could be promoted to IAS in 8 to 9 years under special considerations. Meanwhile, sources added that the AP government might offer her a post in the rank of Deputy Collector. Notably, Sindhu received the job offer, as a result of her Olympic medal.
