Identified as Ram Karan and Amrendra Kumar Arya, the protestors  are students of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. The duo were arrested for raising slogans in public against PM Modi. They stated that they could no longer bear Modi's silence on Rohith Vemula's suicide and demanded justice for him.
