According to reports, a massive forest fire in Portugal killed at least 62 people and injured around 50. Reportedly, the fire broke out on Saturday in the municipality of Pedrógão Grande in Central Portugal and spread fast across several fronts. Nearly 900 firefighters and 300 vehicles were still battling the blaze on Sunday. Prime Minister Antonio Costa reportedly said, “Unfortunately, this seems to be the greatest tragedy we have seen in recent years in terms of forest fires.”
