According to reports, as many as three police personnel, including two women, are set to be suspended for indulging in acts of violence during the jallikattu protest turned violence scenario on January 23. This comes after various media outlets published documented video evidence which exposed the torching of an autorickshaw and a hut in Mylapore and Nadukuppam by people in police uniform.
