Police file FIR against Indian Army for tying man to jeep

The Jammu and Kashmir police have reportedly filed an FIR against the Indian Army for forcefully tying a man in front of a jeep as a human shield against the protesters who took on the security forces during the by-elections held last week. This comes after the man was identified as Farooq Ahmad Dar, a resident of Sitaharaan village in central Kashmir was allegedly tied to the jeep as a human shield after polling officers faced a mob of stone-throwers.
