According to reports, PM Narendra Modi is set to launch Asia's longest bi-directional road tunnel on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on April 2. Reportedly, the tunnel which is 10.89 km long, will cut down travel time by two hours. The ₹2,519 crore all-weather tunnel has been equipped with world-class safety features and was built in a record four years.
